That morning Mother Nature was on it’s moody side. The weather was fine but soon after we set off for outdoor location shoot, it has decided a deep purification ritual with gloomy showers and thunder, and some lightning. The skies did not dampen the spirit of Shelly and James. The bubbly family was always on the positive side and we spent almost an hour driving around trying our luck for a sunny spot. Charlotte the baby girl is just adorable and considerate. If you met her, you would think so too. She’s supportive and was keeping everyone entertained in the car. For Charlotte, Shelly and James, the skies cleared just as we thought we were to give up, and it was a perfect weather for photo shoot!

As this is my first maternity photoshoot, I was excited to help Jonathan and Venus documenting theirs. I personally feel that this is a really beautiful period and it would be a shame to not have it in prints. Just like Jonathan & Venus’ little princess – Reanne who was born earlier two days after this photoshoot making the joy stronger.

The weather forecast over the week said it was going to rain full day on the shooting day. As we prepped for the portrait, we prepped for the rain. But luck was on our side, the weather was beautiful again right before our shooting. It was as warm as we wished for and the sunshine beautifully highlighted the happy family. From the start Baby Ethan just loved smiling and even more especially when he saw his dad who just came back from work. Thanks for the trust and I had wonderful time to shoot them in their house and also at the Brighton beach.

Baby Kiéran turned a month old when I visited Winnie and Emmanuel and I’m lucky enough to have second chance to shoot another mixed beautiful baby, after my first baby shower portrait for Asia supermodel Danielle Graham‘s son, baby Ben 2 years ago.

The camera loves baby Kiéran for he’s adorable and natural, and Kiéran is comfortable with camera too that we came out with great shots after next. Winnie and Emmanuel, enjoy the sneak peak of your baby portrait!

Before photographing their wedding in Sabah, Andy & Sharon have asked me to stay with them for a day to capture the love like in their everyday life. At that moment an idea hit me. I knew it was Sekinchan‘s paddy field harvest time and and it’s also their very first machine harvest with hay bales, I therefore suggested to shoot at Sekinchan. This kind of idea is usually not easily accepted by normal couple but as Andy himself is a photographer, immediately he agreed with the plan and we then had a smooth portrait photoshoot at Sekinchan.

I’m thankful to Andy & Sharon for their trust and I can’t wait to shoot their wedding in the coming weeks. And I know when you look at these photos as many of you wonder, Sharon’s make up and hair were done by Angie Ng.

“♫ Somewhere over the rainbow, skies are blue; and the dreams that you dare to dream, really do come true… ” It took them exactly one year to tie the knot. Congrats to you both, Tony and Evelyn.

Evelyn wore an exquisite designer gown by Beatrice Looi, with an elegant and feminine touch; the make-up was done by Susan Law.

Now for all the details – their ceremony was at the Barker Road Methodist Church, followed by Reception at The Regent Singapore Four Seasons and that simply gorgeous bride’s make-up was Irene’s Creation.
