Peter’s Family – Darwin

Shelly & James Peter got married in Darwin and I shot their family portrait after the wedding.

That morning Mother Nature was on it’s moody side. The weather was fine but soon after we set off for outdoor location shoot, it has decided a deep purification ritual with gloomy showers and thunder, and some lightning. The skies did not dampen the spirit of Shelly and James. The bubbly family was always on the positive side and we spent almost an hour driving around trying our luck for a sunny spot. Charlotte the baby girl is just adorable and considerate. If you met her, you would think so too. She’s supportive and was keeping everyone entertained in the car. For Charlotte, Shelly and James, the skies cleared just as we thought we were to give up, and it was a perfect weather for photo shoot!

Shelly & James Peter, thank you so much for your hospitality and I’m grateful to have captured the happiness, tenderness and intimacy of your family with my camera.

The beautiful make up was done by Timy & Tina Tan. I’m going to let the images tell you their love and I hope you feel what I felt.

Venus & Jonathan’s Pregnancy – Singapore

I was very pleased to be asked by Jonathan and Venus for Venus’ pregnancy shoot. We have kept our friendship since their wedding day and Italy shoot last year. When Angie and I heard that Venus’s pregnancy, we were both happy for them!

As this is my first maternity photoshoot, I was excited to help Jonathan and Venus documenting theirs. I personally feel that this is a really beautiful period and it would be a shame to not have it in prints. Just like Jonathan & Venus’ little princess – Reanne who was born earlier two days after this photoshoot making the joy stronger.
